Haibao Pagoda in Yinchuan, popularly named as Bei (north) Pagoda, was built in
the 
fifth century. This pagoda is built in a temple and has its own special
architecture style. It stands on a big stone base. The
whole structure is built with bricks. Inside the pagoda, a
wood staircase winds to the top for tourist to enjoy the
distant view. The pagoda is 54 meters high, has eleven
storeys and a delicate, exquisite, and clear-cut view. All these features are rarely
seen in ancient Chinese pagodas.
